Rosanne Lamb

Rosanne Lamb is currently a staff member at Crescendo Performing Arts in Glendora, California where she teaches children’s singing classes, music theory, and has been the music director for some of their summer musical theater productions. In her private music studio she offers lessons in piano, voice, trumpet, guitar, and percussion. In recent years, Rosanne has been a judge for solo and choral festivals, performed with the caroling group Lamplight Carolers [Nevada] and the Pomona College Choir at Pomona College [California], and was invited as the Guest Conductor for the annual Children’s Choir Festival hosted by the Clark County Children’s Choir [Nevada]. She has also written some children’s songs for teaching musical concepts and has arranged a small number of choral pieces.
After receiving her Bachelor of Arts in Music Education with emphasis in trumpet and voice from Utah State University in 1999, Rosanne moved to Las Vegas where she spent four years in the Clark County School District teaching choir, jazz band, AP Music Theory, and piano at the high school level. During that time she also directed the music for multiple musicals, served one year as the co-chair for the district honor choir, and spent three summers as the choral director for the Alabama Governor’s School for the Arts and Technology.
Rosanne currently resides in Pomona, California with her husband, Kenneth, and is the mother of five beautiful children who fill her days with a great deal of music… among other things. Through her experiences as a musician, a teacher, and a mother, Rosanne has come to firmly believe that musicians and music educators have an obligation to extend the best music and musical training of which they are capable, to people of all ages and all levels. She attended Rise Up and Sing more than a decade ago and feels that the vision of the Rise Up and Sing clinic is a reflection of that philosophy. She is honored to be returning for the 2018 season.
