Kori Smith

Kori Smith is a dancer, singer and actress. She studied dance for seventeen years at various studios including Centre Stage Dance Studio in Nampa, ID and Burley, ID, The Ballet Conservatory and Studio C. Kori has studied various styles of dance including jazz, tap, contemporary, hip hop, and ballet. She taught at Centre Stage Dance Studio and Westside Studio of Performing Arts in St George, UT where her love of choreography grew. Kori graduated with her associates degree from Dixie State University in St. George, UT and in December of 2017 she will graduate from Idaho State University in Pocatello, ID with a Bachelor of Arts degree in dance choreography and performance. At Dancer Palooza in Long Beach, CA she worked closely with Andy Blankenbuehler, Al Blackstone, and Billy Griffin. Kori was a member of Starlight Mountain Theatre in Garden Valley, ID where she was a lead in Cinderella and Calamity Jane. Kori studied voice with Debra Bonner and Jeff McLean. She won the Danny Marona Performing Arts Scholarship competition in 2014 and every year since has placed in the regional and final competitions with a voice piece. Kori’s most recent performing endeavor was dancing in the Idaho State University Dance Concert.
