Award winning jazz vocalist, Marianne Saunders, has been performing throughout the U.S. for over 20 years. She has shared the stage with entertainers such as Bob Hope and legendary jazz artists such as Dizzy Gillespie (where they traded improvised scat solos together in concert), The Nelson Riddle Jazz Orchestra, Mark Murphy, The Hi-Lo’s, Take Six, Tuck & Patti, Kevin Mahogany and others.
In the classical idiom, Ms. Saunders is a two-time district winner and regional finalist of the New York Metropolitan Opera Auditions. As a performer of opera, concert repertoire and as a vocal ensemble conductor, she has performed throughout the U.S., Germany, Austria, and the United Kingdom. She holds a Doctorate of Musical Arts in Vocal Performance from the prestigious Eastman School of Music and is a part-time Associate Professor at The College of Idaho.
